The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 35 Index rose 1.65%, to 2,000.87 points; the Tel Aviv 125 Index rose 1.31% to 2025.73; but the BlueTech Global Index fell 0.04% to 431.91 points. The All Bond corporate bond index rose 0.24% to 379.74 points. Turnover totaled NIS 2.51 billion in equities and NIS 3.89 billion in bonds.
On the foreign exchange market, the Bank of Israel set the representative shekel-dollar rate down 0.961% from Friday, at NIS 3.712/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set 1.039% lower at NIS 4.020/€.
Bank Leumi (TASE:LUMI) led the market today, rising 3.14% on the day's biggest trading turnover. Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) rose 2.21%, Israel Discount Bank (TASE: DSCT) rose 3.51% and Mizrahi Tefahot Bank rose 3.90%.
Shapir Engineering & Industries (TASE: SPEN) rose 7.1% for the biggest rise on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today. Electra (TASE: ELTR) rose 5.75% and Ashtrom Group (TASE: ASHG) rose 4.98%. Delek Group Ltd. (TASE:DLEKG) rose 4.09% and its Mediterranean energy exploration and production unit NewMed Energy (TASE: NWMD) rose 4.74%. NICE Systems Ltd. (Nasdaq: NICE; TASE:NICE) fell 1.59% and Nova Measuring Instruments Ltd. (Nasdaq:NVMI; TASE:NVMI also fell 1.59% for the biggest falls on the Tel Aviv 35 Index today.
Outside of the Tel Aviv 35 Index, Perion Network (Nasdaq: PERI; TASE: PERI) fell 37.36% after issuing a profit warning.
